"Our time at the Gothic Mansion was just amazing! We visited from Miami, Florida and were told we won the contest of being the smallest party to ever stay there; two of us. There were so many beautiful bedrooms to choice from and many rooms to enjoy. The trip was for my birthday vacation and I wanted nothing more than to stay in a spectacular location and take photos. We stayed for two days and took photos in several of the rooms. I truly enjoyed the dining room and think that is where we captured some of our best work there.

The location was perfect for us to explore Bristol and the mansion itself was a wonderful blend of old and new. The bathrooms and areas were very modern and convenient while the other areas of the mansion kept its rich history in the woodwork and decorations.

This mansion is the perfect destination for anyone looking for special getaway. Our visit will live in our memories forever and the photos will always remind us of our amazing time. We will be back and will be certain to bring more friends next time. I highly recommend this location for an unforgettable ."

"Wow! What a Christmas we had the Gothic Mansion. We hired the whole mansion for 17 and drew rooms out of hats for fairness but there were still rooms left that we didn’t need/use! Most of the bedrooms are opulent in its decor with well thought out furnishings from 4 poster beds, beautifully chosen wall paper to elegant wardrobes and chairs. The rooms were clean and beautiful.

The bathrooms also had a touch of elegance with glass and marble sinks and showers and our room even had a jacuzzi! It is hard to believe that such a stunning building is in amongst residential area of Bristol! We didn’t want to drive so walked our 4 dogs near by in the parks and did a longer walk by the river on Boxing Day.

Being winter we didn’t use the garden much but can see the potential for weddings and other social gatherings and weekends away for celebrations as the main social areas were spacious.
We simply HAD to do a murder mystery party and chose a gothic themed one. The house was perfect for it.
The Christmas tree took centre stage in the main hall. It was spectacular.

Its decor is 5 star and the staff are lovely but they are a small business not a mainstream hotel. I personally prefer this experience and valued the mansion as it is intended. You can tell it is a well loved magical place and I would highly recommend it. It was priced well for what we got and we got a lot of joy over Christmas. All guests are still talking about it now! It will be one to remember for a lifetime. Thank you to Misha and staff at the Gothic Mansion who were so helpful and kind."

"Amazing Building, Great Stay, Lovely Décor

We had an incredible stay at The Gothic Mansion. The building itself is stunning, with its striking architecture and beautifully designed interiors. The décor perfectly complements the historic feel of the mansion while providing all the modern comforts.

One of the highlights of our stay was the spaciousness of the property. There were plenty of communal spaces, making it ideal for group gatherings. It was the perfect setting for family dinners, where we could all come together and enjoy delicious meals in a grand setting.

The mansion is also pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. It’s rare to find such a luxurious place that welcomes pets, and it made our stay even more enjoyable.

We also hosted a murder mystery night, and honestly, this was the perfect location for it! The gothic ambiance, dimly lit corridors, and grand rooms added an extra thrill to the experience—it felt like we were in a real-life Cluedo game!

The location is superb, so close to all the amenities of town, making it easy to explore Bristol while having a private retreat to return to.

Overall, we had a great laugh, plenty of drinks, and an unforgettable time. A unique and memorable stay for our family. The Gothic Manion is highly recommended and we will be back!"
